Najalee N. Rivera, 28, Remembered After Rollover Crash On Ohio Turnpike In Elyria Township While Three Children Survive
Najalee N. Rivera, 28, of Lorain, lost life on Friday, June 19, 2026, after a rollover crash on the Ohio Turnpike in Elyria Township.
Rivera drove a Toyota RAV4 eastbound with three children inside when the SUV left the right side of the pavement near milepost 146.3 at about 11:54 a.m.
Officials said the vehicle hit a guardrail and overturned, and first responders pronounced Rivera at the scene.
Authorities also reported that Rivera did not wear a seat belt.
LifeCare ambulances took the three children, ages 7, 8, and 4, to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.
State troopers said the children’s physical injuries were not life-threatening.
Family members will announce memorial, obituary, and funeral service details at a later time.
