Desiray Otero, 37, of Penn Yan, New York, passed on June 12, 2026, after a life that began on August 25, 1988.

Desiray leaves parents Naimah Sierra and Carlos Otero, siblings Aisha Baaith-Jeffries, Amina Baaith, Naimah Baaith, and Miguel Mercado, along with nine nephews.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E Main St, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location, under the care of Weldon Funeral Home.
